Terms of use
Last updated June 2026
These terms cover your use of Jewish Family Legacy while it is in beta. They are written to be readable, not to trip you up.
A private beta
Jewish Family Legacy is an early product. Features may change, and you should keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable. We will give you a way to download your originals.
Your account
You sign in with your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure, since it is how you reach your archive.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the stories, recordings, photographs, and details you add. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and show them back to you and the family members you invite — nothing more.
Recording other people
When you record another person, you confirm that everyone being recorded knows the conversation is being recorded and saved in your private family archive. Please record with consent and care.
Acceptable use
- Use the product for your own family's preservation, not to harass, impersonate, or harm others.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to preserve.
- Do not attempt to access another family's archive.
Not religious or legal advice
Jewish Family Legacypreserves your family's recollection and practice. It is not a ruling of Jewish law and is not legal, medical, or financial advice.
Beta, as-is
While in beta the service is provided “as is,” without warranties. We work hard to keep your archive safe, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
